As a child, my dad always said he wanted to go to Australia. In the ’90s travelling down under seemed like a distant dream. We made it when I was 11 – sadly Dad didn’t but, I inherited his love of Australia—travelling there again when I was an 18-year-old backpacker. Then again with my husband right at the start of our relationship. And we even managed an epic trip around with the kids in 2017. It will forever be my favourite destination.
